Cellis-I explores what happens when biological behaviour becomes functional form.
Inspired by the movement of slime mould, its branching structure mimics the way a simple organism explores its environment—extending, dividing and reconnecting as it searches through space.
The result is a tablet stand that feels grown rather than manufactured: an irregular living network supporting the precise geometry of a digital screen.
A functional object held by a structure that learned its shape by wandering.
